Travelling Transcontinental
With the advent of long-range messaging apps like Facebook Messenger, and the introduction of cellular and fiber internet services by Couragecom, we ought to take a look back on how our information flowed. Travelling between republics is a great challenge, especially before the advent of Asian Highway 87, where travelers would have had to take airplanes over the Great Gap. Transportation however, remains limited as there are yet to be stable bus services between the 2 nations. Also, getting to the republics of Consideration and Connection require a trek up the Aguilar Plateau, dubbed the “top of the world” by outsiders. While the highway network is great in most places, it lacks where there is great height. The usage of these highways is massive, especially since there are many things you can’t carry on a plane. Touching on the topic of planes, the East Courage Airport is the only way to Courage without driving. With 2 runways and 3 terminals, it’s the nation’s first and only airport. And while boats were a popular method of transport in years before, it has not aged very well. Ferries are nearly non-existent, and fishing is not popular.
A Historical Look
CONSIDERATION, Oct.21—While our team got a first-hand look into the Consideration Museum, we got to speak with the curator and caretaker, Liza Catangcatang about some important details. In an interview through Discord, she gave us details about the museum. Operating hours are from 10.15 to 10.45 am, Monday to Friday. Transportation is a 5 hour drive along AH87, and a short 3-minute hike to the top of the plateau. With a planned Christmas–themed exibit on December 12 of this year, there are big reasons to go there. With a usual 10-18 visitors a day, it would be best if you’d send support by visiting and sharing the first museum in the republic. Other than through the discord handle “windowwander”, there is no alternative way to contacting the museum. Bear in mind that this museum is new, and that there may be sections clearly incomplete and areas sealed off.
